SPPA-Georgia initiated a workshop for the staff of Protected Areas regional Administrations; Directors of eighteen territorial administrations across the country presented reports about works accomplished during the last two years and discussed the systematic problems such as stricter measures against poaching,
improving tourism infrastructure and services, applying more intensive eco-educational activities, etc. The meeting was held in a discussion and experience sharing way, future actin plans and possible ways of overcome current challenges were also reviewed.
The workshop was attended by the Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection - Mr. Gigla Agilashvili, Deputy Minister - Mrs. Ekaterine Grigalava, Head of the Agency of Protected Areas Mr. Lasha Moiststrapishvili and the Technical Advisor of the GFA Georgia – Mr. Ramaz Gokhelashvili.
